Hyperledger, an open-source blockchain protocol, and consortium have announced its certified service provider program.
The program allows service providers to engage in training and professional certification programs. The end result of completing the training is that members can achieve “mastery” in running Hyperledger distributed ledger technologies. Members can then extend their expertise to other institutions in helping them get set up with the new technology.
In order to join the program, the institution must first be a Hyperledger member and have three or more staff that have passed the Certified Hyperledger Administrator exam.
Members into the service provider program are vetted as having previously adopted Hyperledger technology in the past. The first round of companies includes Accenture, Ant Financial, Chainyard, and IBM.
